Mark Kotula Charlotte NC Dog Trainer

Mark Kotula

Mark started training his personal dogs for conformation back in 2003. He's taken four dogs to conformation Champion over the years. His interest led him to personal protection dogs and the sport of Schutzhund or IPO. Mark trained with the local Sheriff K9 units and has helped decoy for the United Police Working Dog Association that certifies dozens of local police dogs in aggression each year. He has trained for Mondioring, IGP, and PSA (Protection Sports Assossiation). When time permits he travels to competitive obedience and protection seminars around the USA. Along with local Sheriff K9s he's assisted several local facilities train protection dogs and is a certified decoy through United Schutzhund Club of America. He's trained and fostered rescue dogs and offers discounted training to any local dog rescue or any active or retired police/military.

Dog Trainer Jacquie Schimmel

Jacquye has been training dogs professionally since 2015 after leaving the field of veterinary medicine. After she graduated the Tom Rose School in 2014 she continued her learning by attending an apprenticeship program under other trainers. She is an AKC evaluator for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC trick dog titles. Jacquye's love of dog sports led her to compete in IGP with her lab, Thea, and her Belgian Malinois' Turbo and Impulse. Her background in veterinary medicine led to her focus on canine fitness. She became a Certified Canine Fitness Trainer through the University of Tennessee.

Heather Phillips Dog Training

Heather Phillips

Heather started her apprenticeship with us early summer of 2017 after graduation from Berea College with a bachelor's degree in Agriculture and Natural Resources. Her love for dogs is almost as impressive as her determination to be the best possible trainer she can be. Her two dogs are Mia (a rescue we trained and just had to keep) and her Belgian Malinois, Drax who is seen above. Heather and Drax make an excellent team and are always fun to watch work.
